Port of Tallinn Personnel Strategy Futures Workshop<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>

In August 2026, we facilitated a futures workshop at the Port of Tallinn\u2019s leadership strategy day. The aim of the workshop was to explore how changes in work and labour markets may affect the Port of Tallinn\u2019s future competence needs and personnel strategy. The workshop focused on alternative labour market futures, future competencies, and the strategic choices organisations can make today to better prepare for a range of possible developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Youth Autonomy Scenarios 2050<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>

Commissioned by the Foresight Centre, we conducted a research project exploring the developments that may shape young people\u2019s independence, agency, decision-making power, and opportunities for meaningful participation in society in the future. The project combined horizon scanning, trend analysis, and participatory scenario development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PARE HR Strategist Development Programme<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>
April 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We participated in the PARE HR Strategist Development Programme, where we delivered a two-day futures thinking module. During the training, HR leaders gained hands-on experience in applying foresight methods and learned how to identify changes in their operating environment, interpret signals and trends, and connect future-oriented insights with present-day HR decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hopeful Futures Workshops for Young People<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>

We often talk about young people\u2019s futures, but it is equally important to talk about the future with young people themselves. In March, Estonia hosted its first futures imagination workshops designed specifically for young people, titled “Estonia 2050: Hopeful Futures”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cinema Futures Scenarios<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>
January 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning of the year, we facilitated a futures thinking workshop for the Apollo Cinema Baltics team. The workshop aimed to analyse the global and local forces shaping the cinema industry and to develop alternative scenarios that would help the organisation prepare strategically for future change. The workshop focused on understanding how technological shifts and changing consumer behaviour may influence the role of cinema in society over the next five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
